Ladera Festival brought together artists and audiences from across Europe in the vibrant city of Valencia. Set in an open-air festival atmosphere, the event celebrated diversity, creativity and authentic self-expression through music, performance and community.For Solea, this performance became one of the most personal of the season, blending theatrical storytelling with intimate moments drawn from lived experiences
PERFORMANCE CONCEPT
Inspired by the uncertainty of adolescence, this performance followed the journey of someone learning to step beyond fear and embrace life again. What began in isolation slowly transformed into confidence, freedom and hope.It was a celebration of choosing growth over fear and discovering that life truly begins outside our comfort zone

“This performance reflects a chapter of my own life—a time filled with anxiety, uncertainty and the feeling of being disconnected from the world around me. Through drag, I wanted to transform those emotions into something hopeful. Every movement represents the courage to take another step forward, to accept uncertainty and to discover that even after difficult moments, beauty still exists. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is simply allow ourselves to live.”
